English B - Bookj ournal - Ham on rye - Perso nal opinion
My personal opinion on Ham on rye written by Charles Bukowski
I had no expectations before I started reading the book. All I've heard was that the language Bukowski uses is a bit vulgar. And what can I say after I've read the book? It was completely true.
Earlier when I had tried to read a book on English I've always thought it was hard, I got stuck all the time and didn't understand the many words. But that were years ago.
So it all got a positive turn when I read Ham on rye. I felt touched and it felt like I could feel the way he felt...what a felling!
Okay, but seriously, it was a great relief when I understood that I had developed in the English language and could read a book without any major problems.
Probably have I read too difficult-, too wrong- or just too bad books before I read this one. Because this one opened my eyes for reading books in English. But on the other hand, I must warn sensitive readers for the language used in the book. Some readers may find the language hilarious, exciting and describing while other readers find the language vulgar, shocking and awfully wrong. My opinion is that the book is vulgar but at the same time hilarious. I think it's up to the reader to decide whether they should throw or praise the book.
This book changed my point of view when it comes to reading, so I believe my opinion is pretty obvious.

It's nice to see that you enjoyed reading the book, Daniel! Being surprised is often a good thing, don't you think?
I agree with your English improving during the reading and blogging of this novel, Daniel. It has been nice to see!
Sometimes you need to work with your concentration so that you don't make easy mistakes.
