New tasks:

After every 30 pages do the following two tasks:

1. Pick out a quotation to do with your main character that you find is important and write a comment to it.

2. Pick out a quotation that has to do with the environment in your novel. This quote maybe enhances the issue of poverty in your novel or maybe your character feels very isolated in his/her life and finds him/herself sitting in deserted cafés contemplating the ways of the world etc.

After finishing the book do the following:

Write a detailed personal opinion of the book

New tasks to your bookjournals:

1 Remember to write the name of author and novel, should you have forgotten it.

After approximately every 15 pages or each chapter:

2. Describe the main character's state of mind and his/her problems/successes or the like and why he/she is feeling this way.

3. Pick one quotation in the text that you feel is important in one way or the other and explain in detail why you picked it. Remember to write page number after each quotation!

4. By wednesday, March 8, you should have read at least 30 pages and written in your bookjournal about them.

Comment the first part of your reading today, Feb. 22, in the following way:

1. Sum up what has happened so far.

2. Describe your main character: Looks, personality etc.

3. Give detailed description of the environment.
