Agnes is still in the body of Mary and everything seems to be all right with the two of them.
Mary had got new clothes from the White Eagles' daughter who died when the white men came to their village.

Even if the three of them had a past of sadness and bad memories I can see in the text that they had begun to go on in their lives.
Mary seems to be very happy in the company of White Eagle and Jaybird.
Jaybird was now also her husband, and the couple was waiting for their first baby to be born.

White Eagle had begun to teach Mary about the Indian culture and the way to look into the future, and Mary seems to like it, because the old man are reminding her of her grandmother who died accused to be a witch.

One day White Eagle told Mary about his daughter.
How he in the middle of the night woke up by the light of her soul who went out in the dark forest.
He followed the soul and tried to get it back, but he didn't success.

Aunt M had begun to prepare Agnes for a new trip into Marys' body.
Agnes herself thought it was a bit strange and didn't believe that the trip should come faster if she went around and search for signs.
But Agnes knew that the time soon would come and she didn't really knew how to feel and prepare for it.

When Agnes came home from the "Witches Well" were she had fetch water, her Aunt found two blue feathers in her hair.
The time was in for a new trip and her Aunt showed her the way to a house that resembled a sauna.

When it got warmer in the house Agnes began to panic and wanted to terminate the trip.
But she couldn't longer speak or run away from the house. She could just sit there and wait for the trip to began.
She didn't knew if she should be afraid or not, it was just to accept it.

She was no longer American or Haudenosaunee. She was English, and her name was Mary, and she woke to find that she was dying, freezing to death. (page 93.)

When Agnes woke up she wasn't herself...

On her way to her Aunts' house she feel asleep in Sims' car.
But it wasn't an ordinary sleep, she went into Marys' body again who was very cold after many hours in the snow.

When Agnes woke up she was really dazed and chocked. Al her power had disapeared from her body, and her aunt was scared that Mary took to much of Agnes energy.
That Agnes maybe not got the health to survive if it should go on like this.
Agnes who didn't feel so well wasn't eater shore if she should make it to the end of Marys' story, and she began to be afraid to went into her body again.

But even if Agnes is afraid I have notice that she has been a lot calmer now when she is with her Aunt, then she was in Boston.
Just because her Aunt knows everything about this gift, and also that she understands and support Agnes on a careful way that does her secure.
So even if everything around Agnes is new for her, she feels safe because she trust her Aunts' certainty.

Now when Agnes and Alison had begun their trip to the reservation I have notice that Agnes has been more nervous and afraid for the future.
Alison showed Agnes a lot of old information that she had found about Marys´ old friends, and the connections between Agnes and Mary have been deeper with al the information.

Agnes also told Alison a lot about her past, and the hard memories about her mother and father, about the feelings of trust that disappeared the moment when they left her.
I got the feeling that Agnes is ashamed about those memories and that the minutes after she told them she regret it.
It seems like Agnes wants to protect her parents even those they had done so much bad for her.

Agnes also seems to be nervous to come home to Aunt M again.
Just because she isn´t sure if she´s ready to hear the truth about Marys´ fate, and also about how big her gift actually is.

"You can´t beat the whole world, Agnes... You have to know when to fight and when not to, and this time I advise...

This has happened...

On the last page in the first book about Mary had the researcher wrote a letter were she asked for more information about Mary.
So after the strange dream that Agnes had have, she decided to write an email to the researcher and tell her about her dream.

The security guard had many times went into Alison Ellmans room to tell her that she really have to leave the building soon because he had to sound the alarm.
But Alison had not listened at him and just asked him for some more minutes.
Alison sat with the paper that she had sat with so many times before.
She had now al the fact she needed to complete a book, but not about Mary.
It hadn´t been a problem at al to find fact about the people that Mary had wrote about in her diary, but the big problem was that Alison hadn´t found a single word about Mary herself.
But Alison had found something that scared her a lot,
al the people who, in one way or another had been mean to Mary had died within a year after the day Mary...

Halim skämdes fortfarande över att han inte lyckats genomföra det han hade planerat mot Mikael Persbrant och kände till viss del att han hade svikit Nourdine.
Men när han några dagar senare läste rubrikerna på dagens löpsedel tappade han hakan över vad som där stod.

En okänd man hade överfallit en Dramatenstjärna utanför en bar i centrala Stockholm, och stjärnan som de valde att inte nämna vid namn skulle efter överfallet ha svårt att genomföra de föreställningar han hade.
Halim såg detta som ett tecken från Gudarna skyndade hem för att berätta för Nourdine att han skulle fixa iordning ett C.V. med bild och allt, för nu hade han sin chans!!

Senare samma kväll begav sig Halim till den stora Dramatenbyggnaden med brevet direkt hänvisat till Ingmar Bergman.
Men dörrarna till Dramaten var stängda, och istället för att Halim själv skulle få överlämna sitt brev så kom en vakt fram till honom och erbjöd sig att göra det i hans ställe.
Halim som till en viss del...

Eftersom jag valt att dela upp läsningen så att boken ska ta slut lagom till den nionde bloggen så har jag inte läst så mycket sedan sist.
Men detta har hur som helst hänt...

Det är inte långt till jullovet nu för Halim, och man märker den mer avslappnade stämningen i boken.
Halims pappa är väldigt nöjd med hur mycket pengar han har lyckats samla ihop på väldigt få dagar på grund av alla tanter som kommit in och köpt presenter i sista minuten.
Halim själv tycks också vara väldigt avslappnad eftersom betygen för terminen redan är satta, och han behöver inte anstränga sig något mer eftersom han vet att han inte får nått för det.

En kväll när Halim och hans pappa sitter hemma och kollar på tv så börjar hans pappa prata om de minnen han har från den natt då Halim föddes.
Han berättar att han just hade avslutat sitt pass i tunnelbanan när han fått en samtal om att Halim var på väg ut.
Enligt Halims pappa hade han då inte sovit på över 30 timmar...
